The family moved from Bronson Twp, Huron County, Ohio between 1850 and 1860 (possibly when Edwin died) to Cook County, Illinois. Both Mary Augusta and her half sister Aurelia each named a son Henry Orgro after the two Gregory brothers killed in the summer of 1863 in the Civil War.
