Research needed (June 2005):
If she was 2 years old when she died, she could not have had all these children.
And she has two sets of parents listed in the Ancestral File. So which ones are correct?
Samuel Dutton (AFN: 4W6T-2D) Mrs. Ann Dutton (AFN: 4W6T-3K)
Children: James Dutton (AFN: 4W6X-91) and Ann Dutton (AFN: 4W6X-8T)
or
Richard Dutton (AFN: HGRB-GM) Catherine Dutton (AFN: HGRB-HS)
Children: Ann Dutton (AFN: 4W6X-8T)
Ann has the same AFN for both parent sets?
There is one (1) entry in International Genealogical Index (IGI) which gives a date of death.

RESEARCH NOTES: Paul Henke
The complete text of note from Lysander Berry to Hanna Cook Dayton reads as follows:
'Your Grandfather was William Cook. He had two brothers, Job Cook and Byle Cook. Your grandfather and his brother Byle married two sisters Lucy Chapman and Lois Chapman. William married Lucy, the other brother Job went away on a ship and was never heard of again. These Cooks came from Connecticut...' (no date on the note in possession of Ronald S Cook)
The existance of William's two brothers, Job and Byle and Lucy's sister, Lois is confirmed by the 'Proxey Baptism' list referred to above.
Henry F (Freeman) Cook is listed as 'son' when he was baptized for William Cook and 'Nephew' when he was baptized for Job and Abial (Byle). Hannah Cook Dayton was listed as 'Grand Daughter' when she was baptized for Lucy Chapman and 'Grand Niece' when she was baptized for Lois Chapman.
It is believed that all of William and Lucy's children were born in New York State. 'We have no record of the family being in Michigan until 1838' (Gertrude Cook Jackson - 2nd gg granddaughter).

RESIDENCE: Her father's family was in Penfield, Monroe, New York at the time of both the 1820 & 1830 census.
In September of 1835 her family was living in Carlton, Orleans, New York at the time of her father's death. Because
she was under the age of 21 years the court appointed Calvin Rundell, her brother-in-law, as her Guardian. Calvin Rundell
resided in Penfield at this time. After their marriage Eunice Cook and Peter Crippen made their home in Penfield. After Peter's
death we have not found where Eunice is in the 1875 census but is listed with her son, John Crippen, in the town of Penfield
from IN 1880 and 1905. She was appearently still living at his home when she died in 1907.
