      in 1834. Purchased property in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1835 but died before
      he could move to Kalamazoo, Michigan. A document dated 10 Mar 1840
      assigned property of deceased to his heirs at law. 'Pursuant to a warrent
      to us directed by the Hon. the probate court for the County of Kalamazoo
      State of Michigan we the subscribers having been first sworn agreeably to
      the directions of said warrent have appraised on our said oath, all the real
      estate whereof Abiel Cook late of Orleans County state of New York,
      deceased intestate died siezed within this state at the sum of One Thousand
      One Hundred Ninety four dollars and 20 (twenty) cents. Whereupon we have
      set and divided the said estate to and among Calvin Rundell, Hiram Cook,
      Edward Willard, Richard McOmber, Peter Crippen, Alonzo Cook, Alfred Cook,
      the heirs to said deceased as follows..' The addresses nor the relationship
      of these persons to the deceased were not given.
      Abiel lived in Penfield, Monroe, New York from probably around the
      1810 until at least 1830. Need to search land records to see if he owned
      land in Penfield.

      Henry F (Freeman) Cook is listed as 'Son' when he was baptized for William
      Cook and 'Nephew' when her was baptized for Job and Abiel (Byle). Hannah
      Cook Dayton was listed as 'Grand Daughter' when she was baptized for Lucy
      Chapman and 'Grand Niece' when she was baptized for Lois Chapman.

      in a school a mile south from Two Bridges, Isaac Mason, Hervey Blood,
      Lemuel Willard, ABiel Cook, Jeremiah Newval, William Reed, Dolly Reed,
      Gracilla Blood, Laura Tilden, Eliza A Tilden, Esther Mason, Rachel
      Newval, and Fanny Rice, members of the Baptist Church in Gaines, declared
      themselves a regular Baptist Church. On the 11th of July the
      organization was recognized by a council held for that purpose. '

      County, New York by Calvin Rundel, administrator of Abiel Cook's
      estate says, 'That the widow of said deceased Lois Cook died in
      October last...' This letter is a part of the Abiel Cook's Probate
      packet, on file with the probate court of Orleams County in Albion,
      New York.
