    1. 1.  Gregory Cooke was born in 1621 in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England; died on 01 Jan 1691.

Gregory, of Cambridge, was a selectman of Mendon 1669. He owned a farm of 112 acres between Angier's Corner and the Watertown Bridge, situated partly in Watertown and partly in Newton. (17)Gregory lived in that part of Watertown now Newton in 1672; next year was of Watertown, yet had some years been at Mendon, was there selectman 1669; of Watertown again, 1684, and at Cambridge was selectman 1678, and after. (12) Gregory first married Mary [Cook]. Mary died on 17 Aug 1681. (17) They had the following children:

His w. d. 20 June 1721.
